The Parque Nacional Montecristo-El Trifinio (Montecristo Trifinio National Park) is in the northwest of El Salvador, in the area where the borders of El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala converge. The park was established in 1987 and its most interesting feature is the Montecristo Cloud Forest.

Animals that roam the park include rare spider monkeys, two-fingered anteaters, pumas, agoutis, toucans and striped owls.

The park is accessed via Metapán, where accommodation is available. Parque Nacional Montecristo-El Trifinio is about 80 km north of San Salvador.
