Paysandú
Paysandú on the Uruguayan Littoral is the country's second largest city. It boasts numerous excellent museums. There are several interesting churches in Paysandú. The Parish Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, St. Benedict of Palermo, St. Raymond, St. John Bosco Parish Church, Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Church and St. Joseph the Worker Parish Church.
There are several hotels and restaurants in Paysandú. The city is 340 km northwest of Montevideo, on the eastern banks of the Río Uruguay, the river that marks the border with Argentina.
