The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park includes the 200 km (167 mi) long Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which was established in 1970. Parts of the trail run along the coast and take you past numerous sandy beaches, rugged cliffs, coves, wooded estuaries and small fishing villages.

Inland are the Preseli Hills, which include moorland, forts, standing stones and burial chambers. The Gwaun Valley is a wooded area.

Out on sea lie the islands of Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm. They are inhabited by colonies of gannets, guillemots, puffins, razorbills and gray seals.

The entire park is excellent for hiking, fishing and water-activities.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is located in the west of Wales. It was estsablished in 1952.
