Piribebuy
Piribebuy served as Paraguay's national capital during the War of the Triple Alliance. Nowadays it's a very quiet place, which boast the beautiful church of Dulce Nombre de Jesus, which is also known as 'Ñandejará Guasu'. The Chaco War museum is also very interesting. Once in Piribebuy you should try the local brew of caña.
Accommodation is available in town and so are several restaurants. Piribebuy is 65 km east of Asunción.
