Qíqíhā'ěr (齐齐哈尔市)
Qíqíhā'ěr Shì (Qiqihar City) is also spelled as Ch'i-ch'i-ha-erh, or Tsitsihar. It was settled in ancient times as Bo Kuí (卜奎, Bukui).
Bǔkuí Qīngzhēnsì (卜奎清真寺, Bukui Mosque) consists of 2 parts, the East Mosque, which was built in 1684 during the Qing Dynasty and the West Mosque, which dates from 1852.
There are numerous wetlands in the vicinity of the city, including the Zhalong Nature Reserve and Longsha park.
Qíqíhā'ěr Shì is the 2nd-largest city in China's Heilongjiang Province. It sits on the Nen River, about 900 km northeast of Beijing.
