Qena (قنا)

Many people stay in Qena, sometimes referred to as Qina, to visit the temple complex in nearby Dandarah. The town sits on the east bank of the Nile and used to be known as Kaine in ancient times.

There are several hotels and restaurants in town and Qena has good rail and road connections with Cairo and many other cities in Egypt.
