Ramciel

Ramciel is a location in the center of South Sudan that was appointed as the site of South Sudan's future national capital. John Garang, who struggled for South Sudan's independence wanted to locate the national capital in Ramciel during his administration, but he died before South Sudan achieved independence. Instead, upon independence, Juba became the national capital. Plans still exist to move the capital to Ramciel.
