Sagole
Most people come to the small village of Sagole to visit the Sagole Spa. The village itself is of little interest, but there is a huge baobab tree in the vicinity. The tree is the largest baobab tree in South Africa. Its trunk's diameter measures 10.8 m. If you want to see the tree you will have to pay an entrance fee. The town's surrounding area is excellent for hiking.
Accommodation is available at the spa. North of town are the ruins of ancient fortifications. Sagole is one of the small towns near Thohoyandou.
