Slovenia's Adriatic Coast (Slovene Riviera, Slovenska Obala)

Slovenia's Adriatic Coast is also known as the Slovene Riviera (Slovenska Obala). The coast is not very long, but there are several nice towns along it. The most interesting ones are Koper and Piran. Not far from Piran, at Fiesa, is the best beach along the coast. It has clean waters and the use of boats is restricted. From Fiesa you can see Trieste's Miramare Castle.

Most towns along Slovenia's Adriatic Coast are linked by bus and have good connections with Ljubljana and Trieste (in Italy). You can also use the train from Ljubljana to Koper.
