Tübingen
Tübingen is a lovely university town in the south of Germany. During the Renaissance, Hohentübingen Castle was built on a hilltop. It is now part of the university and offers great views over the city. In the Old Town are many winding streets, lined with houses that have steep, red tiled rooftops. Tübingen is a very nice place to just wander around, especially the market is interesting. Other sights include Tübingen city hall, Neckar and Hölderlinturm and the Stiftskirche.
Not far from town is the densely wooded nature park of Schönbuch.
There are numerous bars and cafés, as well as hotels and restaurants. Tübingen is 545 km southwest of Berlin.
