Thíra (Santorini)

The island of Thíra is better known as Santorini. It is one of Greece's most spectacular islands, formed by one of the world's largest volcanice eruptions ever. The caldera is filled with sea water and the island has black volcanic beaches.

There are many hotels, cafés and restaurants on Thíra, as the island is a major tourist destination.
