Argentina's agricultural center is formed by the Pampas, an area of vast grassland plains that covers the provinces of Buenos Aires, La Pampa, Entre Ríos and most of Santa Fe and Córdoba, as well as Uruguay and parts of Brazil. Argentina's national symbol, gaucho, is also found there. In the Pampas you will find both forests and grasslands, as well as hills. Along the coast, thousands of flamingoes roam the salt lakes.
There are many interesting cities in the area, including La Plata, Luján, Rosario and Santa Fe. In all of these cities are interesting museums and nice colonial buildings. Also worth a visit is the Parque Nacional Lihué Calel, where you can see puma.
The Pampas are home to a wide variety of wildlife.
