Varvara (Варвара)

Varvara is a fishing village that only gets busy during the summer, when many people from Sofia come there to relax. The town has a nice beach and there are places to stay, as well as restaurants, in town. The surrounding bays are excellent for scuba-diving. On nearby Papia Peak, the remains of an medieval fortress can be seen. Varvara is 55 km south of Burgas and 385 km east of Sofia.
