Conwy is a scenic medieval, walled town, which is dominated by the imposing Conwy Castle. The castle has eight crenellated towers and its shape is mainly formed by the rocks that were used as its foundations. From across the Conwy River, you'll have great views over the castle with the Snowdonia Mountains in the background.
About one kilometer of the town's medieval walls still remain, as well as 22 towers and three gateways. Also in Conwy is the smallest house in the U.K., the timber-and-plaster Aberconwy House that was built in the 14th century. Some 13 km (8 miles) south of town is the beautiful Bodnant Garden.
Accommodation is available in town, as well as several restaurants. Conwy is 320 km northwest of London.
