El Serrat
El Serrat is a tiny village surrounded by mountainous land that is perfect for hiking. An interesting walk is the one to Estany de l'Estanyó (lake) and the Pic de l'Estanyó, a 2915 m (9560 ft) high mountain. The trail starts north of El Serrat and leads to the Borda de Sorteny mountain shelter. This hut sits at an altitude of 1970 m (6460 ft) and you can spend the night there if you wish. If you follow the path from there you'll come to the lake and from there you can continue to the summit of the mountain.
The nearest accommodation is in the village of Llorts, 3 km to the south. El Serrat is 15 km north of Andorra la Vella.
