Frigate Islands Nature Reserve
The Frigate Islands Nature Reserve is an important summer nesting area for frigate birds, herons and several indigenous species, such as the Ramier pigeon and the Saint Lucian oriole. Other animals that roam the park include boa constrictors and the dangerous fer-de-lance pit viper. Tours into the park are available at local agencies.
Frigate Islands Nature Reserve is 20 km southeast of Castries.
