Lake Sebu

Lake Sebu is a marvelous inland sea in the south of Mindanao Island. The lake sits at an altitude of 300 m (984 feet) in the remote Tiruray Highlands. The local tribespeople, the T'boli, live in almost total seclusion and the area is a good place to visit if you are interested in traditional lifestyles and culture. The T'boli are known for their high quality brassware and weaving. These handicrafts can be purchased on the colorful Saturday market in the region.
