La Laguna

La Laguna used to be Tenerife's capital. Nowadays it is home to the most important University of the Canary Islands. La Laguna is only a small town, but it has numerous monumental buildings. Its tourist center boasts natural basins.

There are various hotels and restaurants in La Laguna. The town is in the north of Tenerife, 1700 km southwest of Madrid.
