Manzini
Manzini is the industrial heart of Eswatini. The city center is very compact and easily explored on foot. It is very different from the rest of the country. Drivers are reckless and gangs make the streets dangerous at night.
From 1890 to 1902 Manzini used to be the combined administrative center for both the British and the Boers. During the subsequent Anglo-Boer War the Boers flattened the town almost entirely.
There is a market in Manzini on Thursdays and Fridays.
There is a lot of accommodation in Manzini and there are also many places where you can eat. Manzini is 30 km southeast of Mbabane in the center of the country and is connected to the capital by bus and taxi services.
