Mkhaya Game Reserve is a private reserve, of the road between Manzini and Big Bend, near the hamlet of Phuzumoya. The area had been very popular with hunters for the large amount of animals, before the reserve was established there.
In the park you will be able to see black rhino, elephant, roan and sable antelope and white rhino, as well as herds of indigenous Nguni cattle, which make the reserve economically self-supporting. Guided walking safaris, as well as game viewing by car can be arranged.
Accommodation is available at the park. Mkhaya Game Reserve is aimed at foreign tourists, which makes it quite expensive. The park is about 70km southeast from Mbabane and can be reached by bus or car.
