Mount Selinda

Most people come to the village of Mount Selinda to visit the nearby Chirinda Forest Reserve. The reserve covers 949 hectare (2350 ac) and is Africa's southernmost tropical rainforest. Inside the park is Zimbabwe's biggest tree, a 1000 year old red mahogany behemoth of 66 m (215 feet) high and 15 m (50 feet) thick.

Mount Selinda is in Zimbabwe's Eastern Highlands, about 30 km from Chipinge and has bus connections with that town.
