Northern Hot Springs

About 50 km northeast of Chongqing, in the Sichuan province is a large protected area that includes a 5th-century Buddhist temple, as well as numerous hot springs. The water from the springs averages about 32°C. The water is used for the Olympic-size swimming pool. More springs can be found 20 km south of Chonqing. The water there is hotter, but the bathing possibilities are no so good.
