Obudu Cattle Ranch
The Obudu Cattle Ranch is just east of Ogoja, about 35 km from Obudu in the southeast of Nigeria. Expatriate Scots founded the resort-like ranch in the 1950's. The ranch has a refreshing climate because of its altitude; the area is 1890 m (6200 feet) above sea level.
A whole score of outdoor activities such as horse-riding, hiking or playing tennis is arranged there. Accommodation is included and tasteful food is available. In the nearby rainforest are a small but beautiful waterfall and a gorilla camp.
The Obudu Cattle Ranch is 610 km east of Lagos and 335 km southeast of Abuja.
