Salto Angel (Angel Falls)
The Salto Angel (Angels Falls) is the world's highest waterfall, with an uninterrupted drop of 807 m (2647 feet). The waterfall lies on a tributary of the Río Carrao, in the northern part of the Canaima National Park.
Salto Angel is 710 km southeast of Caracas and the nearest accommodation is in Canaima, some 60 km to the northwest.
