Bermuda's South Shore Park is a 2.5 km (1Å mile) long coastal reserve that protects 12 of the nicest beaches on the island's southern coast. There are numerous interesting coves and bays that are divided by outcrops of craggy rocks. Some of the beaches, such as Horseshoe Bay, are quite large, while others, like Peel Rock Cove, have room for only several people. A coastal trail connects most of them.
The eastern fringe of the park is formed by a marvelous stretch of pink and white coral sands known as Warwick Long Bay. It is popular with surfers, as it is not protected by any headlands and a generally good waves.
South Shore Park is about 5 km southwest of Hamilton.
