Tiberias

Tiberias lies on the western shore of Lake Tiberias (Sea of Galilee). It is an excellent place to stay if you want to visit The Galilee region. In Tiberias you'll find the tombs of ancient sages, as well as several hot springs, whose warm waters will help you soak away muscle aches and other bodily pains.

There are numerous hotels and restaurants in Tiberias. The city is 115 km north of Jerusalem.

Because of the war with Iran, Hamas and Hizbollah it is not recommended to travel to Tiberias, or any other destination in Israel at this moment.
