Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park
Tunku Abdul Rahman is a very large national park, just offshore from the regional capital of Kota Kinabalu. The park measures some 4929 ha (12,174 acres) and includes the islands of Gaya, Mamutik, Manukan, Sapi and Sulug. The islands have some of the best beaches in the region and a good variety of wildlife, including monkeys and bearded pigs. The coral reefs around the islands are excellent for scuba diving and snorkeling.
Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park is in the northeast of Borneo, 1620 km northeast of Kuala Lumpur.
