Valladolid
Valladolid is the monumental capital of Castilla y León and is home to one of the most important sculpture museums in Spain. Valladolid is also the location of the country's most famous Easter week processions. During Easter, the city is packed with tourists and accommodation can be tight. It is said that in Valladolid the most correct Castilian Spanish is spoken.
There are numerous castles in the surrounding countryside.
