Aride Island is the northernmost granitic island in the Seychelles. It is about 10 km (6 miles) northwest of Praslin Island. Aride Island is owned by the Society for the Promotion of Nature Conservation and home to the largest concentration of seabirds in the region. The only way to visit it is on organized tours from Victoria. The island can only be visited from October to April.
