Bermudian Landing

The endangered black howler monkey only lives in Belize and the best place to see them is the Community Baboon Sanctuary in the village of Bermudian Landing. The sanctuary was set up by villagers in order to protect the primates from extinction. It includes a visitor's center, where you can learn more about the black howler monkey, as well as some 200 other animal species that roam the park.
The sanctuary is about 35 km west of Belize City and 45 km northeast of Belmopan.
