Bo is a large city, 175 km southeast of Freetown. Most people refer to it as 'Bo Town'. There is a lively market, some beautiful mosques, churches and temples, but other than that there is little of interest to travelers in the city.

The truck park is next to the market and accommodation is available in town. There are also several restaurants, but good food is also available from food stalls on the market. The airport is south of town.
