Bundibugyo
Bundibugyo is an interesting town in the Semliki Valley on the western side of the Rwenzori Mountains. It can be visited on a day trip from Fort Portal, 85 km (53 mi) to the east.
Not far from town, in the same valley, hot springs can be found near the village of Sempaya.
The village of Ntandi is 16 km to the north. Nearby live pygmy tribes that can be visited, although most pygmy villages are heavily commercialized.
The road from Fort portal to Bundibugyo is extremely scenic. There are fantastic views over the rain forest and surrounding savannah and into the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

- The offices of Bundibugyo Town Council.
- The headquarters of Bundibugyo District Administration.
Accommodation is available in several villages around the Semliki Valley, including Bundibugyo. There are also several places that serve food.
Bundibugyo is 378 km (235 mi) west of Kampala, close to the border with the DRC and it has a small airport.
