The fishing town of Busua, or Bosua, is 25 minutes walking, east of Dixcove. Busua has a fantastic white sand beach, but there is not much accommodation available and sometimes oil from the harbour of Takoradi spills on the beach. There is also a little white church. Cooked lobster is sold at various places in town.

Busua is about 210 km west of Accra and served by minibus (tro-tro) and taxi.
