Cocobeach is a friendly town on the Muni river some 25 km north of Libreville. It has good beaches and you can visit other interesting fishing villages nearby. There is also a market.

There is not much accommodation in Cocobeach, but you can camp on the beach without too much hassle. There are some restaurants and bars. Cocobeach is popular with people visiting the Parc National des Monts de Cristal (Crystal Mountains National Park).
