Colo-i-Suva Forest Park

Colo-i-Suva Forest Park was founded in 1872 in a rainforest area not far from Suva. The nature reserve features numerous hiking trails and natural bodies of water that are excellent for swimming. There is a rope-swing in the park that is very popular with locals. The park boasts many waterfalls.

In the 1940s and 1950s, African mahogany was planted there and the trees stand out from the older native vegetation.
