Diffa
Diffa is an original Hausa town in the southeastern corner of Niger, some 1135 km east of Niamey, not far from Lake Chad. There is a lively market in front of the Gare Routière. There are several mosques in Diffa, most notably the Grande Mosquée de Diffa.
Accommodation is only available in the form of a camp ground. Food can be purchased from food stalls on the main square, or from the market.
