Fulufjället
The mountain of Fulufjället lies west of Särna and is included in Sweden's Fulufjället National Park. There are many streams and rivers in the area that feed the 100 m (328 feet) high Njupeskär, Sweden's tallest waterfall. The waterfall is about 30 km (19 miles) west of Särna. The road from Särna to the Norwegian border is very scenic. The area includes rugged mountains and dense forests.
Särna is a good place to stay, when visiting the area. Maps of the region are available in town.
