The Sassanid Kākh-eh Sassani-ye Sarvestan (کاخ ساسانی سروستان, Palace of Sarvestan) was built by the king Bahramgur in the 5th century. The palace is the only building in the otherwise empty plain. Another small building stands just north of it.
The palace is about 90 km southeast of Shiraz.
Because of the war with Israel and the United States it is not recommended to travel to Kākh-eh Sassani-ye Sarvestan (Palace of Sarvestan, کاخ ساسانی سروستان), or any other destination in Iran at this moment.
