Lūsayl, or Lusail City, is a new city. Construction is still ongoing, but the city has already grown to be the second-largest city in Qatar. Lūsayl has marinas, residential areas, island resorts, commercial districts, luxury shopping and leisure facilities, a golf course community, man-made islands and several entertainment districts.
Some places of interest in Lūsayl include the 74 m (243 ft) tall Lusail Marina Arch sculpture at Marina Interchange. Al Wahda Arches consist of two 100 m (330 ft) tall slanted arches that are connected with a net. The arches were erected at the beginning of the Lusail Expressway in 2020.
Lūsayl has been the venue of various International events that have included the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the Qatar Grand Prix.
Lūsayl is 20 km (13 mi) north from Doha.
