Manarola
photo

Manarola is the most picturesque of the Cinque Terre villages.

There is a large water-wheel in Manarola, which may be the source of the town's name.

During religious holidays, such as Easter and Christmas, luminous scenes are set up on the hill overlooking the village.

There is some accommodation in Manarola and there are several restaurants. The town is about 350 km northwest from Rome.
