Nabeul, or Nābil, is a mayor tourist town on Tunisia's northeastern coast. It was one of the country's first tourist resorts. You will be able to find some of Tunisia's cheaper accommodation there, including a very good camping area. There are sandy beaches and a big market on Fridays.
The Archaeological Museum contains artifacts that were found in the area.
There are two bus-stations in Nabeul, a bus station for buses to Tunis and Hamammet is close to the center on Ave Habib Thameur. Buses and louages to Keliba and other places on the Cap Bon Peninsula leave from the eastern end of the main street, Ave Farhat Hached. The railway station is a few blocks towards the beach from the main street in the center of Nabeul.
The city is about 75 km southeast from Tunis.
