The Outamba-Kilimi National Park is sometimes referred to as Kamakwie National Park. It is in the north of Sierra Leone and straddles the border with Guinea.

The park is divided into two sections. The northern part is called Outamba and it is an area of hills, grassland and rainforest. It is more interesting than the southern part, which is known as Kilimi. The northern section also has better facilities. In the Outamba region you can see baboons, crocodiles, elephants, hippos and monkeys.

The park got its name from Mount Outamba and the Kilimi River.

The park was established in 1974. In the Outamba section of the park tents are available and canoes can be hired to see the hippos. The entrance to the park is 7 km from the town of Fintonia, which is 175 km northeast of Freetown.
