Phát Diệm Cathedral (Nhà Thờ Chính Tòa Phát Diệm)
The Phát Diệm Cathedral (Nhà Thờ Chính Tòa Phát Diệm) is a Catholic church that was constructed in 1891, using stone and wood. The church features a blend of Vietnamese and European architectural styles. The church was damaged during the Vietnam war, but it has been restored.
Not far from the cathedral are several chapels, grottoes and a memorial house.
The cathedral is located in the township of Phát Diệm, in Vietnam's Ninh Bình province, some 100 km south of Hanoi.
