Puerto Galera
Puerto Galera sits on the northern tip of the island of Mindoro. It is a popular beach resort and most inhabitants make a living in the tourist industry. There are several nice beaches and accommodation is widely available. Some of the most popular beaches include Sabang Beach and White Beach
Along the coast is a diverse coral reef that is perfect for snorkeling and scuba-diving. There are many go-go bars in Puerto Galera.
The town can be reached by road from Abra de Ilo and Calapan, by boat from Batangas, or by seaplane from Manila. Puerto Galera is 125 km south of Manila.
