Refugio de Vida Silvestre Corredor Fronterizo (Border Corridor Wildlife Refuge)

As its name suggests, the Refugio de Vida Silvestre Corredor Fronterizo (Border Corridor Wildlife Refuge) consists of a 2,000 m wide strip of protected land that runs along Costa Rica's northern border.

The area was established in 1994 and includes beaches, dry forests, moist forests, wetlands and coastal lagoons.
