Sarvestan (سروستان) is a good place to stay if you want to visit the Palace of Ardashir Pāpakān and the Palace of Sarvestan.

There are several hotels and restaurants in Sarvestan. The region around Sarvestan is renowned for its yoghurt. The city is in the south of Iran, 80 kilometres (50 mi) southeast of Shiraz and 735 km (457 mi) south of Tehran (Teheran).
