Whangaparāoa Peninsula


The Whangaparāoa Peninsula is a suburban area at the northern tip of New Zealand's North Island. It stretches from Red Beach, where it connects to Kingsway, Orewa and Silverdale and extends to Army Bay in the Hauraki Gulf.

Many of the peninsula's inhabitants work in Auckland and commute to and from work daily. The peninsula's main road is Whangaparāoa Road. It runs along its entire length.

The Whangaparāoa Peninsula is between 30 and 50 km north of Auckland.
