al-Hufūf (ٱلْهُفُوف, Al-Hofuf) is also known as Al-Hasa, Al-Ahsa, or Al-Hassa. The city is located in one of the largest date producing areas in the world. It features old markets and palaces, including Qaisariah Souq and the Ibrahim Palace.
One of the main sights in al-Hufūf is the Masjid Jawāthā (Jawatha Mosque), which is located about 12 km (7.5 mi) northeast of town.
The city is located, 300 km northeast from Riyadh.
