Auyuittuq National Park

Auyuittuq National Park is Canada's third largest national park and one of only a few in the world that lie north of the Arctic Circle. The pristine wilderness of mountains, valleys, fjords and meadows offers spectacular hiking possibilities. Mount Thor is also in the park. It is the tallest uninterrupted cliff face on earth and popular with climbers. Mount Thor is 1500 m (4920 feet) high.
Auyuittuq National Park is in the east of Baffin Island, some 380 km north from Iqaluit and 2470 km north from Ottawa.
