Encamp is a small town, 8 km northeast of Andorra la Vella. Most people come to the town to visit the Museu Nacional de l'Automòbil. This car museum has a large collection of antique cars dating from 1898 to the 1950's. There are also exhibitions of bicycles and motorbikes from the same period.
Not far from Encamp is the 12th-century Església Sant Romà de les Bons. The Romanesque frescoes inside are reproductions; the originals can be seen in the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, which is in Barcelona (Spain).
Two of Andorra's best skiing resorts, Soldeu-El Tarter and Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig, are in the vicinity of Encamp.
Accommodation is available in Encamp. The town has bus connections with Andorra la Vella.
